We are here to help with issues and problems as usual, but things are being done in a different way, to keep you and our staff as safe as possible. Please see below.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

We are delighted to inform you we are now inviting patients in group 9 (adults aged 50 & over) for their COVID-19 vaccination. Patients will be offered an appointment at one of the vaccination sites for Trafford West PCN, which are Davyhulme Medical Centre, Partington Family Practice and Partington Central Surgery. If you’re aged 50 & over and have not yet been vaccinated please contact the surgery call NHS119 or click here#rollupyoursleeves

Appointments: For all GP appointments or queries please contact us online via Askmygp on the day you would like to be seen. Please be prepared for your problem to be dealt with online, on the phone or by video call. Appointments in the surgery will be offered if necessary.

Repeat Prescription Orders: Please order your repeat prescriptions as follows:

  • If you are already set up for Patient Access you can continue to use that.
  • If you don’t have Patient Access and you are ordering for yourself, please download the NHS App, register for an NHS login and follow the instructions.
  • Contact your preferred pharmacy
  • If you are unable to order your prescription via any of the above please contact the surgery and speak to a member of the team for further support.

Face Coverings: When attending the surgery please wear a face covering/mask to help prevent the spread of the virus. Some groups of people are exempt from this requirement, including children under the age of 11, people with disabilities, those with breathing difficulties, those travelling with someone who relies on lip reading. These groups of people, their parents or guardians can explain the reason, if needed, about why they are not wearing a face covering. There is no need for our GP surgeries to issue exemption letters for patients who are unable to wear face coverings and the NHS has advised us not to do this. Click here to download an exemption from face covering badge to print and keep with you or click here to download an exemption card for your mobile phone.

Urgent Care Centre / Walk-in-centre: If you plan to attend Trafford General Hospital’s Urgent Care Centre or Walk-in Centre from Tuesday 27 October, you must contact 111 before arriving at the site. Click here for more information.
